FOUNDING ATTORNEY
Thais Arsolino Purdy, Founding Attorney
An immigration attorney who came the same way her clients did, and who can tell the story back to them in the language they dream in.

LANGUAGES
Trilingual counsel, including native Brazilian Portuguese.
Thais Arsolino Purdy practices immigration law in three languages: English, Portuguese, and Spanish. The Portuguese is the one that sets her apart: she speaks it natively, as a Brazilian-born attorney, and almost no other immigration firm in the Palm Beach market can offer clients native Brazilian Portuguese from the attorney handling their case. For Brazilian and Portuguese-speaking families, it means their story is told directly to their lawyer, with no translation service standing in between.

PRACTICE FOCUS
The family and individual side of immigration.
Thais built her practice around the people-first side of immigration law: the cases where a family's daily life is what is on the line. Her core work is family and marriage-based immigration: marriage green cards, fiancé petitions, and the family reunification cases that keep households in the same country. She also represents clients through naturalization, guiding lawful permanent residents to the final step of citizenship.
Beyond the family docket, Thais handles asylum, DACA, and student visas, and she represents clients on the employment side through the National Interest Waiver (NIW) and PERM labor certification. It is a deliberately broad focus, because the people she serves rarely have just one immigration need: a student visa becomes an employment petition, a marriage case becomes a naturalization years later, and she is built to follow the whole arc.
BACKGROUND & HERITAGE
She came the same way her clients did.
Thais Arsolino Purdy was born in Brazil and immigrated to the United States at the age of five. She grew up Brazilian-American, inside the same immigration system she now practices in, and that history is not a marketing line for her. It is the reason she does the work. She understands, from her own family's experience, that an immigration case is never really about a form. It is about whether a family gets to stay, build, and belong. That is the perspective she brings to every case.
