ABOUT THE FIRM
Two Founders. Two Immigrant Heritages. One Firm.
Delgado Purdy Law was built by two founders who came at immigration from opposite ends of the same road, one from the business and investor side, one from the family and individual side, and merged because our clients needed the whole road covered. This is the story of how one firm came to hold the full arc of an immigration life.
OUR STORY
Two practices that found each other.
Jacqueline Delgado built Delgado Law Group around the hardest, highest-stakes corners of immigration law: deportation defense, investor and business visas, and the appellate work that follows a case all the way to the district courts of appeal.
Thais Arsolino Purdy built Purdy Law around the family and individual side: marriage green cards, naturalization, asylum, student visas, and the employment petitions that let people build a life here.
For years the two practices kept sending each other the same kind of client. A family Thais helped reunite would open a business and need investor counsel. A company Jacqueline represented needed someone who could speak to its workers in Portuguese, not just its executives in English. A green card would grow into a deportation case, or a citizenship petition, or an appeal. The full immigration journey almost never fits inside one practice area.
So the two firms did the thing their clients had been asking them to do without quite saying it. They merged. Delgado Purdy Law is the answer to a pattern both founders had watched for years: immigrant families and business owners need counsel that can grow with them, in the language they trust, from the first petition to the last appeal.
Now it all fits inside one firm.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Immigration is a life being built, not a form being filed.
Both of our founders are the product of the journey they now represent. One is the daughter of Cuban immigrants; one was born in Brazil and came to the United States at age five. We have sat on the other side of the desk. We know what it feels like to have a family's future resting on a decision made in an office you did not choose to be in.
That is why we practice the way we do. Senior attorneys handle the work directly, in the language you speak at your own kitchen table. We tell you the real timeline and the real cost before you commit to anything. And we keep the firm's original promise, carried over from the practice that first said it out loud: keeping families together.
MEET THE ATTORNEYS
Two founders. Senior counsel on every case.

Jacqueline Delgado
Jacqueline Delgado is the daughter of Cuban immigrants, and she built her practice around the parts of immigration law that carry the highest stakes: deportation defense, investor and business visas, and appellate work. She has argued appeals before the Florida Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal, served as In-House Counsel to a hospitality-recruitment company handling J-1 and H-2B matters, and sat as Of Counsel and Chair of the International Practice Group at a firm handling pre-immigration and international tax planning. Her business-side work spans EB-5, E-2, H-1B, L-1, O, and P visas. She serves on the AILA Palm Beach County Liaison Committee and holds her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law.

Thais Arsolino Purdy
Thais Arsolino Purdy was born in Brazil and immigrated to the United States at age five, and she built her practice around the family and individual side of immigration, the work she does in three languages, including the native Brazilian Portuguese that almost no other firm in the Palm Beach market offers. Her focus spans family and marriage petitions, naturalization, asylum, DACA, and student visas, along with employment matters like the National Interest Waiver (NIW) and PERM labor certification. She earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law in 2018 and her B.A. from Florida Atlantic University in 2012. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and admitted to the Florida Bar.

Luz Pedraza
Luz Pedraza is an immigration attorney at Delgado Purdy Law, representing individuals and families in family-based immigration, deportation defense, asylum, employment visas, and naturalization. As the daughter of an immigrant, she grew up close to the questions her clients now bring her, and she knows what it costs a family to wait on a system that rarely explains itself. Her practice is deliberately client-centered: every case turns on its own facts, so she walks each client through their rights and their real options in plain language, and keeps them current as the case moves. She earned her J.D. at St. Thomas University School of Law, was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2024, and serves clients in English and Spanish. Away from the office she hikes, follows soccer, travels, and cooks.
OUR COMBINED CAPABILITY
The full immigration spectrum, under one roof.
The full spectrum, one firm.
Family and marriage visas. Citizenship and naturalization. Work visas and employment green cards. EB-5 and E-2 investor visas. Asylum, DACA, humanitarian protection. Deportation defense and immigration appeals. Twelve practice areas, from the first petition to the appellate brief, handled under one roof.
Four languages, spoken natively.
English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, all four spoken by the attorneys themselves, not routed through translation software or a third-party service. Your case is told in the language you trust to tell it. Native Brazilian Portuguese, in particular, is something almost no other immigration firm in this market offers.
Three offices, two states.
Boynton Beach and Lake Worth in Palm Beach County, and Atlanta in Metro Atlanta. One firm, one case file, the same attorneys regardless of which office you walk into, and the full case follows you if you move between Florida and Georgia during your case.
